The anaerobic digestion process produces gas composed of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2), known as biogas. These gahaiqi are produced from haiqi wastes such as livestock manure, food processing waste, etc. Anaerobic proceshaiqi occur using haiqi wastes and various types of bachaiqia by placing them in an airtight container called a digester.
