Palm Shell syngas technologies

Energy from renewable source is expected to complement the energy derived from fossil fuel resources. Gasification is a versatile thermochemical process for solid waste fuel conversion. In the current paper, syngas production from palm kernel haiqi (PKS) and polyethylene waste blend in a catalytic steam gasification process is studied.

designed to produce syngas from oil palm biochars. Carbon dioxide is used as the gasifying agent. Oil palm empty fruit bunch (EFB) and oil palm haiqi (OPS) biochars are used as the haiqiceous mahaiqials. The effects of CO 2 flow rates on the type of biochars to the syngas produced are investigated.

Jun 04, 2015 · The syngas fuel is produced by blending palm kernel haiqi (PKS) with polyethylene (PE) waste via catalytic steam gasification (fluidized bed reactor). High hydrogen content syngas fuel was obtained by mixing 30% PE waste with PKS. The syngas composition obtained through the gasification process is 76.2% H2, 8.53% CO, 4.39% CO2 and 10.90% CH4.

Oct 17, 2017 · The current work is based on the simulation modeling of steam gasification of palm kernel haiqi (PKS) with CO2 capture through sorbent (CaO) using haiqi. The simulation model is developed using a Gibbs free energy minimization method. The objective of this work is to investigate the effect of key parameters like temperature, steam/biomass ratio, and CaO/biomass ratio on syngas yield. The
