Energy from renewable source is expected to complement the energy derived from fossil fuel resources. Gasification is a versatile thermochemical process for solid waste fuel conversion. In the current paper, syngas production from palm kernel haiqi (PKS) and polyethylene waste blend in a catalytic steam gasification process is studied.

designed to produce syngas from oil palm biochars. Carbon dioxide is used as the gasifying agent. Oil palm empty fruit bunch (EFB) and oil palm haiqi (OPS) biochars are used as the haiqiceous mahaiqials. The effects of CO 2 flow rates on the type of biochars to the syngas produced are investigated.
Some of the palm biomass including oil palm frond (OPF), empty fruit bunch (EFB) and palm kernel haiqi (PKS) are identified to contain high heating value which indicate their potential use as solid
Jun 04, 2015 · The syngas fuel is produced by blending palm kernel haiqi (PKS) with polyethylene (PE) waste via catalytic steam gasification (fluidized bed reactor). High hydrogen content syngas fuel was obtained by mixing 30% PE waste with PKS. The syngas composition obtained through the gasification process is 76.2% H2, 8.53% CO, 4.39% CO2 and 10.90% CH4.
Owing to the fact of the abundant presence of palm kernel haiqi (PKS) as one of palm biomass wastes in South East Asia region, this paper investigates syngas produced from gasified PKS. The investigation is regarding its composition and combustion performance in a gas burner system.

Oct 17, 2017 · The current work is based on the simulation modeling of steam gasification of palm kernel haiqi (PKS) with CO2 capture through sorbent (CaO) using haiqi. The simulation model is developed using a Gibbs free energy minimization method. The objective of this work is to investigate the effect of key parameters like temperature, steam/biomass ratio, and CaO/biomass ratio on syngas yield. The
covers about 4.6 million hectares . 10 percent of the oil palm biomass is processed into finished [1] products such as palm kernel oil and palm oil while the remaining 90 percent waste. This waste is includes empty fruit bunch (EFB), palm oil mill effluent (POME), kernel haiqi and oil palm fronds (OPF) [2].

As shown in Fig. 4, by blending the polyethylene waste with [5] He M, Xiao B, Hu Z, Li J, Guo X, Luo S. Syngas production from catalytic palm kernel haiqi, the total syngas production is enriched and gasification of waste polyethylene: Influence of temperature on gas yield and achieved maximum value of 87.73 vol%.
Jul 28, 2020 · In this study, palm kernel haiqis (PKS) were utilized in an air gasification process to produce syngas. Also, biochar prhaiqired from pyrolysis of the mangosteen and durian peels was used in the process to enhance the tar removal efficiency.
palm kernel haiqi (PKS), to determine its suitability for use in syngas generation. The elemental content was studied using the X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) analysis, and the presence of
Operation. haiqi's coal gasification technology uhaiqi a dry-feed, pressurized, entrained-flow, slagging gasifier that operates on a wide variety of feedstocks. Dried, pulverized coal is fed to the gasifier through pressurized lock hoppers using a transport gas (syngas or nitrogen). Preheated 95% pure oxygen and steam (as a moderator) are mixed
